26/8/ 2021 – Zamil Steel Buildings Vietnam Co., Ltd has been invited to attend the conference on “Fostering Investment Cooperation between Vietnam and the Middle East: Potential, Opportunities and New approach” organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.

The conference saw the presence of H.E. Mr. Pham Quang Hieu – Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, H.E. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc – Vice Minister of the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Viet Nam and more than 300 distinguished guests from relevant Government bodies, Embassies, Investment Funds and Representatives of Vietnam & Middle East enterprises.

Conducted both directly and virtually, the Conference served as the platform for participants to explore the Vietnam’s market potentials as well as providing excellent opportunities for panel discussions on how to pick up the investment inflows to Vietnam in the coming years. Zamil Steel – as the largest Saudi Arabian invested company operating in Vietnam since 1997 – has been appreciated by the Government of Vietnam as the standard success example of the strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Middle East.

In return, Zamil Steel Vietnam’s General Director – Krishnakanth Kodukula – has delivered a speech in which Zamil Steel thanked the Government of Vietnam for supporting the development of Zamil Steel during 24 years of operation and committed to support Middle East companies to setup production facilities in Vietnam with international quality standards.

Followed up on the conference, Krishnakanth Kodukula also shared in an interview with The World & Vietnam Report (the official press agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam) his thoughts about the strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Middle East and how this partnership will pick up investment opportunities for both regions in the years to come.
