October 18, 2023, Leaders of Zamil Group met with the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
At the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam H.E Mr. Pham Minh Chinh will attend the ASEAN – Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit and visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from October 18-20, 2023. The visit holds significance in further strengthening cooperative ties between two leading organizations in Southeast Asia and the Gulf region, fostering collaboration, enhancing political trust, and improving the effectiveness of cooperation between Vietnam and Saudi Arabia.
Upon arriving in Riyadh on October 18th, the Prime Minister met with the Leaders of Zamil Group, Zamil Industrial Investment Company, and Zamil Steel Vietnam. During the meeting, Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Zamil, Chairman of Zamil Group, expressed his gratitude to the Government of Vietnam for supporting Zamil Steel Vietnam’s operations in the country. He also affirmed the Group’s development strategy in the Vietnamese market and expressed his hope that Vietnam would create more favorable conditions for the Group to export products to countries in the region.

The Prime Minister appreciated the Group’s business activities and proposed that the Group expand investment and production activities in Vietnam. He emphasized the need for the Group to innovate production technology in a modern direction, increase the content of high technology, and prioritize sustainability and environmental friendliness.
